Introduction to the young talented artist Ahe from Vietnam

Ahe is from a family of artists, both from her mother’s and her father’s side. They are mainly painters and sculptors but Ahe is the first performer of music in the family.

She was born in Hanoi, Vietnam in August 2003 as
Bang Tu Ha Thien and has been learning to play the piano since she was 4 years old. She started studying at the Vietnam National Academy of Music in Hanoi (VNAM) after an examination at the age of 8 in which she reached the 2nd place of the participants.
She has now completed 6 (six) years of studies at the Academy and of tuition by Professor Tran Thu Ha, a former head of VNAM. Professor Ha is very well known as an international judge for many piano competitions and as a teacher and a concert pianist.

During her studies at VNAM
Ahe has been awarded the certificate of being an ‘excellent’ piano student every year. An example of this award is shown on the page ‘Certificates’.
According to a list of the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture and Sports
Ahe’s level has ranked her as one of the Top-10 piano students of the whole of Vietnam from 2017.

She has recently started to take part in competitions and has performed with new ideas and a fresh attitude and done so with bravery.
In July, 2014
Ahe (10) took part in the ASIA International Piano Academy & Festival with Competition in South Korea and won a Bronze Prize in recognition of her outstanding performance.
In September 2015 at the age of 12 she took part in the Third International Piano Competition in Hanoi and won the Encouragement Prize.

In 2017 at the age of 13
Ahe took part in the Flame Concours in Paris in July. Her performance gave her a 1st prize in the category Piano 10-13 years.

After Paris
Ahe went to El Tiemblo in Spain to take part in a summer camp and competition where she won the 3rd prize.

She is now preparing for continuation of her music studies both in Vietnam and abroad.
